we have all heard that saying, "When God closes one door, He opens another." then why do we bang upon that closed door hoping that someone will hear us and reopen it? why do we beg and plead for the thing we think is missing from our lives? Why is it that we pray for the situation to change rather than our out look on it, or our strength to overcome it?
Sometimes, I think we forget that we are only human. We as humans are beautiful because God created us to be so, but we are also susceptible to failure, mistakes, and heartbreak. But what i don't think we realize is that all those things, failure, heart break, mistakes, they are what strength are dependency on Him who is so wonderful.
God sees our lives fully, while we only see it in parts. He understand better what we need, for we can only imagine what the future holds and He already knows.
We try to limit The Almighty, but He says in John 13:7 that "What I am doing now, you will not understand, but later you will.”
sometimes i get frustrated as I imagine most people do, when God closes a door you were so certain you were just destined to walk through. But, i believe one thing we all forget is, GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES, He has our lives mapped out for us, giving us only what He knows we can handle. so when you think you can't handle something, remember those words: He only gives us what He knows we can handle.
I know that, in the midst of your circumstances, what ever they might be, it’s hard to view the closed door as a blessing. It just feels like divine rejection from The Lord. but, take comfort in knowing that maybe that what was behind that door wouldn't have been as awesome as what He has in store for you behind the new door He has opened for you, "being fully confident that whatever God has promised you will come to pass.” (Romans 4:21)
We as humans have a hard time excepting the disappointments that life is bound to throw at us, but don't go to God first, and curse Him for whats going wrong, instead thank Him for the things that are going right. For He has a plan for you, He knows you for He made you. Be confident in His ability to lead you along the right path. God is so faithful, and so good
so say a thank you to Him for he loves you with such a passion, and has such faith in your ability to succeed even when failure or heartbreak seem to weight heavy upon your heart.
Give everything that is bothering you to the lord, for he will make your heart light, and show you what true love is.
